Trudeau also said he asked Gov. Gen. Mary Simon to prorogue Parliament until March 24, and she granted the request.

So Parliament won't sit until April-ish. Maybe a general election will follow, or maybe the Liberals will limp along until fall.

I don't think this will help with the tariffs.

2025 is gonna be wild.
