I can't believe "the children yearn for the mines" is now an actual plot point

I feel that "children yearn for the mines" and that fluffy artstyle go hand in hand. One woudn't work without the other. They know what they are doing but the question is for whom?
It isn't for milenialls / gen z that grew up playing it.
I hate that but I know one person that would love this film as they hate minecraft with passion.
P.S. The Bee is peak design. Fluffiness can't ruin it.
Should've gone with this one from the beginning, it looks faithful to the game just with an isekai twist.
Did they pull a Sonic with this? That teaser a while back looked like utter shit, but this actually looks like a good adaptation here.
Also: "As a child, I yearned for the mines" lol
Seems that way
I hope 'pulling a sonic' isn't an intentional marketing technique now
Ok, so I am too old for the minecraft obsession. I remember when it came out and it was a cute little throwback to bit games. Then I watched it grow until what it is now.
When I heard it was going to be a movie, I thought it was as stupid idea. Jack Black in it? Ok, now a stupid idea made even more stupid.
But no lie, this trailer changed my mind. I'd actually watch this! lol
