It seems you haven’t noticed yet that it is the Global North that’s increasingly isolating itself from the rest of the world. And given that the Global North has largely de-industrialized, it’s going to find itself in a pickle. And Russia is major player in the global majority.

I do have to say that simply making up goals for Russia turned out to be a very effective propaganda strategy.
