For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

The outlet notes that Brody is being represented by attorney Mark Bankston, who represented two of the Sandy Hook parents who successfully sued Alex Jones for fueling the claim that the school shooting was a false flag.

Good. Hope he gets everything he deserves.

Goddamn I love seeing Bankston's name come up on these sorts of stories. Here's hoping this trial goes like the last one did.

It’s. Always. Projection.

Musk is a Russian agent posing as a Neo-Nazi.

[–] Alto@kbin.social 13 points 11 months ago

Not sure he's really posing

Musk did help Russia by cutting off Starlink from some Ukrainian sea drones in a bid to 'prevent a nuclear war.'

Good, it's definitely harmful and irresponsible the way Musk will glom onto any ridiculous, unsupported right wing conspiracy post.

Ka-Ching! I hope the guy wins.

Might not be a walk in the park. That cave diver that was called a 'pedo guy' by Musk lost his trial, despite the facts seemingly being in his favour (although his lawyer was Lyn Wood, so that probably didn't help).

This guy is using the lawyer that won against Alex Jones, so let's hope it goes the same way.

A sane person would have learn the lesson after cave diver case.

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 12 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Unfortunately Musk won that case, so he probably learned the wrong lesson from that.

[–] g6d3np81@kbin.social 7 points 11 months ago (1 children)

WTF he won???
I thought it ended in some kind of settlement. I hope the fight did not financially damage the diver too much, still sucks.

Elon Musk is a fascist-loving manchild.

This is what we get from ripe capitalism

I have no idea what's happening here because the article doesn't actually cite any sources but Im pretty sure you can't be sued for defamation for re-xitting a news article.
