I still have never watched this movie, mostly because I am not a fan of Tom cruise.

He's probably the least Tom cruise in this.
I didn't even recognize him in tropic thunder.
I don't like Tom Cruise, or Tom Cruise movies either, but this is a classic.
The isn't that much Tom Cruise in it and the part where he is, is fantastic.
The person should be committed, but the artist is committed.
Best description of the guy I have ever heard.
I know you've already gotten a bunch of responses, but I'd like to add that the movie isn't about Cruises character. It's about how a different character became a vampire and his history dealing with it, while running into Cruises character a few times.
He's a co star.
“I finally got it,” Jordan wrote. “He had to live a life removed from the gaze of others. He had made a contract with the hidden forces, whatever they turned out to be. He had to hide in the shadows, even in the Hollywood sunlight. He would be eternally young. He was a star. He could well be Lestat.”
Oh snap.
Tom Cruise is a vampire?
Daniel Day Lewis would have been a terrible choice for Lestat. Why would anybody think Lewis for that role?
I mean he was good, but he's certainly no Sam Reid
