My favorite part is rediscovering a thing I debated about throwing out last time I cleaned out the closet. After inspecting it for the first time since it was last put away I will ultimately decide not to throw it out again. At that point it will go back where I found it to sit untouched until I rediscover it again the next time.
These are my most cherished objects.
Some of them have been getting rediscovered about once a year for decades now lol
