Boeing 737 Max jets were grounded worldwide for months after two fatal crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia in 2018 and 2019. The planes returned to service from the end of 2020.
They've been back in service for a few years now, and are used quiet widely. I've flown 737 Max a couple of times myself.
Good thing Biden is there to improve relations between Boeing and Vietnam… oh I mean the US and Vietnam.
