It's also wrong. We know the five eyes have been involved in providing intelligence on the incident. Canada hasn't publicly released evidence, but to therefore conclude there isn't any or it hasn't been shared privately is a pretty big leap.

I have no doubts the five eyes believe the accusations and have / are mounting their own evidence, but I also don't expect world governments to start condeming or sanctioning India based on hidden evidence because that doesn't sound like a very diplomatic way to procede as a third party country to this fiasco.

Edit: woke up today to articles about indian comms obtained to canada and Biden talking to Modi personally, so it seems we're already developing a little more past the info we had.

India has a Hindu fascist government ethnically cleansing Muslims, Sikhs and other minority groups. It's really not a stretch that they organized the death of a Sikh separatist leader.

Just because there is evidence to the former doesn't mean it directly implies the latter.

Bush was not a dictator yet he misled a whole nation to fulfill his wet dream of killing Saddam Hussein, and indirectly gave rise to Daesh(ISIS).

Obama was awarded the Nobel peace prize but he did impugn the sovereignty of another nation to kill a known terrorist.

If what Canada is saying is true it is not any different than nations of five eyes have already been doing. All of them who supposedly uphold democratic principles when it suits them.

This is an ongoing investigation and remarks should await its results.
