It’s not legally binding, but I have literally never run into a map without errors. To expect it to be absolute truth is nuts!
For example, look at how both paper and GPS maps get people in trouble in mountainous areas. It’s incredible how little critical thinking people show when trying to drive sedans down mismarked jeep trails, then get surprised when stranded.
I even saw someone drive down a boat ramp the other day into a lake.
