Well I wasn't expecting Rozemyne's 4th year at the Royal Academy to only last a week. I wonder if this means summer school or what. It sounds like Fraularm was fired which should make school life more pleasant going forward. I love how Bonifatius is always so happy to see Rozemyne return. He just doesn't seem to care at all about his emotions showing unlike other nobles. It's interesting to see the contrast between how her retainers, family, and everyone else reacts to Rozemyne's changes.

Seems like Rozemyne made it back just in time to help avert disaster in Ehrenfest. I've often wondered what Georgine's motivation is for taking Ehrenfest's foundation. If Rozemyne's worst fears are correct about her just wanting to destroy Ehrenfest then Georgine has some real issues. Regardless of the reason, I'd like to see Georgine get caught in a trap and shipped off to the Ivory Tower. I still think that she might send the old Giebe Gerlach to do her dirty work if her goal is just to cause damage. Considering how many times her plots have failed I don't see her risking herself unless her success is guaranteed.

Since Ahrensbach's key is in Ehrenfest's possession, it'll be interesting to see if they can make use of it somehow as insurance or to remove Detlinde and install Ferdinand as Aub. Seems like Rozemyne will be too busy to have some quiet reading time for quite a while.

So you didn't think that Georgine had real issues after learning she is trying to assassinate her brother ever since they were children, was giddy about seeing her mother imprisoned and miserable, poisoned her own daughter for mere convenience, made her own daughter's life a living hell just because that girl had the misfortune to look like her grandmother, most likely poisoned her husband's first wife and then him and might well be responsible for the death of her own father as well, all the while allowing an entire greater duchy to fall to ruin in the pursuit of her own selfish goals? oO

Considering how trigger happy the royal family is about Ferdinand, I think the smarter counter-attack would be to have Letizia, rather than him, steal Ahrensbach's foundation. With her being engaged with Hildebrand and meant to become the next Aub by royal decree, this would be a demonstration of loyalty, rather than easily being mistaken for an act of rebellion. With a couple of Ferdinand's potions, she should be able to pull it off. And once she's the new Aub, she can abolish that stupid tradition and return some of her uncles and aunts, like Alstede and Blasius to archduke candidate status, so they can help her maintain the foundation from then on out.

I can understand Georgine hating her mother and brother for being forced to give up being an archduke candidate—after training hard to become one—and get married off to Ahrensbach. Even Rihyarda has sympathy for her. We don't really know what her circumstances were like in Ahrensbach, she may have had good reason to get rid of the other archduke family members, or maybe she was just broken at that point. But there's a big difference between taking revenge on the people who wronged you and genocide.

If Letizia were old enough then I'd agree that she'd be best to take the lead, but she's not even close to entering the Royal Academy. Ferdinand has been building a good rapport with the people of Ahrensbach. I think almost everyone—including Detlinde's retainers—would prefer him to lead over Detlinde at this point.
