Comey is part of the reason we're here. He put his thumb on the scale a week before the election causing the dipshit to win.
Comey just followed what he felt was ethical to a fault without looking at the wider picture. He was too fixated on the minute details to see the bigger political picture. And, when Trump tried to get him to pledge loyalty, he refused and was instead fired. Comey’s crime was resisting political pressure from both sides. Either way, that’s over and he thinks Trump is horrendous and wants to get rid of him. You ever hear the phrase “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”?
He fucked the country. The problem is see with a. Lot of liberals is that anyone who remotely has a correct take on standing up to a terrible piece of shit, suddenly redeems all their past crimes against humanity. Him posting a cheesy photo to get attention before his book release doesn't undo the fact that he cause this shit.
This photo isn't an alliance.
This blows my mind..
"His crime was resisting political pressure from both sides.'
His crime was trying to be objective and impartial?
That's not what he did. At all. There was plenty of evidence on Trump's Russian compromise. No investigation. But reopening a random investigation into emails, which had already been closed...which was something the entire bush administration did, the entire trump admin later did...one week before the election and immediately closing it is fucking bullshit. There was zero point to that other than influencing the election
I'm just pointing out the wording there. I'm not at all saying comey didn't botch it, but on its face we WANT prosecutors to ignore both sides and focus on what the facts.
I was trying to say its a crazy bonkers world when judicial isnt expected to ignore political parties.
Sorry for the confusion, i am not talker good
