Huh? Japanese dubs tend to be worse at lipsync than english dubs

The only way you can tell if something is dubbed is because the lips do not line up with the words.

Well and as long as the dubbed voice doesn't sound completely comical or unnatural, the only way to tell it's dubbed is by watching the lips

So... you can't tell if it's dubbed in English by simply listening to whether it's spoken in English or Japanese?
