4) NSFW is okay, within reason

NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.
6) No US Politics.

I do something similar to the clothing thing but with buildings. Like if I see an old run down store I think about if that was someone's dream to run and it just didn't work, or they retired and it fell apart. I develop weird empathy for buildings doing this ๐
I used to feel bad every time I saw a newly-opened small business that had closed.
It's still sad sometimes. However, ever since I worked in a few small businesses, I got to see just how batshit some small business owners are.
Now when I look at a "new" small business that just closed, I can't help but suspect that a power-tripping owner probably fucked it all up through their own arrogance.
I get the building thing in rural Australia gold rush towns where there'll be some amazing stone building that was probably a bank or similar place of business but has since become a cafe or junk shop.
I dream about buildings and city scapes. Everything that happens in the dream can be detailed, but the focus is on the architecture.
