What do those people have to do with Musk being a retard? Would youcall them retarded? I'm guessing not. Most people don't use the world that way anymore.

It's clearly been repurposed and it's getting quite silly how upset.

The definition of the word has nothing do with disabilities:

To keep delaying; to continue to hinder; to prevent from progress; to render more slow in progress; to impede; to hinder;

When someone calls Musk a retard they obviously do not mean he is disabled. They are referring to the base definition of the word.

Now downvote me because you disagree but be aware of the irony in retarding the word from being changed from an insult towards people who are disabled to a word that describes a deep rooted willful ignorance.

Yes, but it was an official medical diagnosis at one time. And then it got used as an insult, so the medical establishment backed away from it.

But that’s beside the point. I have known both nice and nasty people with intellectual disabilities, and somehow none of them were Nazis. I believe the proper term for Musk is ‘shithead’.
