I'd like to see stats on how many of the publishers that get approved for payment are in the Postmedia group, making them American owned. In 2022, Postmedia received $9.9mln in federal funding, and had an operating income was $13mln. Making over a 3rd of their income for that year directly paid by taxes. They are majority owned by Chatham Asset Management, which has strong, long time, ties to the GOP.

There's a list of their assets on the Wiki, I would strongly recommend boycotting their publications.
