I worked w guy that did 7 years in state pen in like 1990's. They were made to go out on work crews (not chain-gangs.) Picking up trash from side of road sorta stuff. They actually made a competition out of it to see who could do the most work. Said it felt good to actually be giving back to society.
I asked what if you wanted to be the guy that stood there and refused to work? He said you could, but the inmates would make that person pay when they got back to lockup.
How does this apply to your reddit banning post? Not sure but I figure i better leave there before i get banned. My first post on lemme.
