I hope lemmy servers are ready for another population boom.
Anyone that's stuck with reddit this long probably thinks this sort of thing is a good idea.
Surprisingly, there are a lot of people who have still never heard of Lemmy on Reddit. I mentioned it in a post about this and got flooded with people asking me what Lemmy is and how to sign up.
anyone who engages in the news and political, and adjacent subs, are addicted, they wont leave.
They’ll get banned eventually for upvoting something on a gaming sub that mentions Luigi’s mansion. Then they’ll be confused for a while and move to the next app
