For AAA games, right? I think independent developers are on their own and would be harmed by piracy.
do independent devs crunch and lay off staff when product lunches?
Not that I know of -- I think many would be firing themselves and or a partner or two if that were the case. We should call them out and protect them since they've been bringing much needed innovation to the game industry.
My point being manor lords guy got his full fee;)
Ubisoft, EA, microshit can get wrecked.
