  • Pomu Rainpuff is a vtuber, a youtuber using a virtual avatar and movement tracking
  • the term vtuber was first used and popularized by Kizuna Ai (2016) starting the trend in Japan and has some influence from idol culture
  • they do youtuber things like live-streaming games and karaoke
  • Outfit Reveals are when a new avatar is released. due to the cost, time and effort involved in commissioning them, are a rare occasion
  • NijiEN is the english branch of japanese vtuber agency Nijisanji
