A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

It sounds way less offensive to those who decry the original terminology's problematic roots but still keeps its meaning intact.

That's why I said to not rename existing stuff, but to consider changing default names for new things. Or don't. It's not the end of the world.
