I've seen them a lot as well, but personally in my interactions, I've found them to be abrasive, narrow minded, and eager to take things personally. Lowkey don't mind that, it's not the internet if everyone is some polite bland npc.

But add mod powers for many communities and...

I've seen them goad people into arguments and then smugly mute them and tell them they need a timeout lmao

Or arbitrarily ban them all together. My favorite is still baning for tos violation then leaving said violation up
