Hello. Let's talk about self-care. Who practices self-care regularly? I've been making an absolute effort to practice self-care, and it's definitely improving my mood. I floss, meditate, do qigong, breathwork, etc. Yes, flossing is self-care, take care of yo teefs. What does everyone do for self-care? Bonus question: Where else can I post questions besides Ask Lemmy?

I do, but I'm not good at it. I trim my body hair, I don't floss because those are really expensive where I am from, but I brush twice in a day and gargle. I've recently started taking minoxidil and finasteride, so there's that too. Luckily, I was born with a great skin, and rarely do I get boils, so I don't really do anything apart from using soap and water - although I'm concerned about the formation of wrinkles and other scars when I get older. I do not do any sort of meditation, because I've not seen any improvement from it. I bath twice in a day, but because my mental health is really terrible, so sometimes I skip my morning bath. For the same reason, I also have a sedentary lifestyle. By the way, there was a /c/selfcare@lemmy.ml community I had created, which I had to delete later because no one took part in it. You can probably request the admins to un-delete the same.

Where do you live that floss is expensive? It is significantly cheaper than toothpaste.
