He has some sexual assault/harassment allegations coming out against him and she wants to distance herself from him, it would seem. They've been separated for a while now, but she's only just now making the divorce official/public.
He's also a raging Zionist and an Islamophobe.

Yes, he is Jewish and frequently parodies antisemitism
And also parodies islamophobia, and homophobia.
When he was playing a Muslim character. That's the important point.
Not just that, he also faked a lot of his claims. Such as his "interview with a real terrorist" in Bruno. Where he framed an innocent Palestinian man as a terrorist leading to that man being harassed by Zionists.
Cohen's Islamophobic character roles were no accident. He was very much in the business of spreading Islamophobia.
