Oh yeah I think he was possessed by the tiny intelligent rock life being mined (S2 I believe), the intelligent nanites life infesting the ship ("you may lay the egg when ready"), hmmm there might be more.
And neither of those are the one I was thinking of, which was Power Play from season 5. It involved condemned aliens posing as the dead crew of a Federation starship.
Forgot he was possessed by his grandfather too. Possessed by Masaka (the sun god). Can we count the outlaw(s) in the holodeck (a fistful of datas). Also the infections (with mint frosting) might count. Someone should make a video about this.
