Hi!

I have my Home Assistant in a proxmox vm. I hadn't bluetooth, so I bought a Sabrent BT-040 which seeing the documentation it says to work without any problem on HA. My problem is that the integration works, but I'm not able to find any of my devices in Home Assistant. I have 2 speakers which work eith bluetooth and I can't figure out how to integrate them into my HA. Anyone has similar experiences?

Thanks!!

How far apart is the Bluetooth dongle and the Bluetooth devices, and are there obstacles like walls in the way? Bluetooth doesn’t have the greatest range and can be further diminished by walls etc.

I never had much luck using a USB dongle connected to my Home Assistant server. Instead I use a couple of ESPHome Bluetooth Proxy devices located closer to my Bluetooth devices.

The devices when I tried it were next to the usb dongle, and the dongle is connected though a usb extensor... but for the moment I had no luck... I'll try the ESP proxy just in case. Thanks very much for your help!!
