Is there a way to export my settings from the Reddit sync to this lemmy app?
Been looking for a way to do that myself. Can't find anything.
Edit: DON'T DO THIS IF YOU'RE ON LEMMY.WORLD, they have something wrong with comments that currently crashes the app.
You just backup your settings like you normally would and then import them into the lemmy sync app,
in sync for reddit: settings > backup > backup now
Then in sync for lemmy: settings > backup > restore from backup
Note: to do this, both apps will require you to set the backup directory first
I just did that and it broke my app.. had to clear data and need to set it all up again
Lemmy.world comments are kind of borked right now, so a lot of comment settings break sync, I'd assume he missed putting an error catch to prevent the app from crashing somewhere related to comments.
I'm on sh.ithust.works, which is my alt for my lemmy.world when it crashes like this lol
Ah, nevermind. I've got my app set up mostly like it was before. So I'll leave it for now

Export your settings from reddit: Settings shortcut: Backup > Backup now Import them into lemmy: Settings shortcut: Backup > Restore from backup
