You don't have idea in how wrong you are in that statement. I have over than 100 albums on my library that never came out in streaming music and frequently I hear of something being putting down from them. It's not true even to USA's music.
Besides, paying £30 in Spotify where they use audio codecs with lose is just dumb. Deezer has everything it has and costs less than half of this.
Who is paying £30 to Spotify? That's like a tenner.
The £30 was my price for a hypothetical video version of that.
Sorry I misunderstood.
For what it's worth, I think the £30 was a theoretical amount for the "everything video" service.
But yeah, as a mashup enthusiast I'm resigned to the idea that it's never going to be well represented on streaming as a genre due to the concerns around licensing.
PlexAmp and Plex (and a few other things, I guess) are my solution, but it still means that link sharing with friends is an awkward mess.
