Whatever happened to the Professor Layton game? Was hoping to see that.

They recently said 2025 as a release date, even though it seems to be complete. I suspect that means it's going to be released on the next console, though that doesn't mean it won't be released on the Switch I guess?

Is this some new news? I remember their main puzzle creator dying, but that was back when 3ds games were being made
