I'm checking out the demo for Contra: Operation Galuga, and maybe going to play some more Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons to unlock some characters. Potentially other beat 'em ups and Mortal Kombat if I get the chance to get together and play some co-op.

What about you? What have all of you been playing?

I've been playing the first Legend of Zelda game. I'm surprisingly having fun, but I think it's due to save states. The combat in the game is brutal.

It's inspired me to try making a 2D open world game in Godot.

Yeah, save states make some older games playable now. That is how I finished the first Legend of Zelda too. That and an online guide ๐Ÿ˜›

I find I'm mostly okay without a guide in the dungeons, but in the overworld to find the dungeons and items, I need it ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Yeah, my experience was the same.
