It will be interesting to see how much U.S. interest there is in an iPhone and (Google) Android alternative that packs sustainable and ethical smarts.

Likewise. This is what kept me from older models, but I'd happily take a Fairphone if there was a model with a good camera out when I'm looking for a phone. I think I can even ger around a missing headphone jack, but pictures is what, it turns out, I use a phone for the most besides the usual messages and web searches and occasional music related stuff.
