Doom. I wasn't even alive when it came out yet the game is still great and in my opinion has aged extremely well outside of graphics.
Doom is the reason why my brothers and I set up a lan at our parents' house. IPX over coax, and NE2000 network adapters.
I still play Doom 2 deathmatch against other Doom enthusiasts using source ports. It's just perfect FPS in my opinion.
