Enough Musk Spam
For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.
Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.
Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Oh for sure, cause there definitely wasnt multiple other companies doing those same things more competently, who were going just a bit slower because they were following pesky things like, I dunno, laws.
That definitely excuses the open racism and flagrent incompetence at every turn, for sure.
Just admit you love that he is a racist git, youre doing a shit job hiding it.
Everything I've learned about Elon musk since the Thai cave incident has been against my will.
He bought Twitter and I deleted my account. I don't know what he does on a daily basis, or what he says until it gets posted here, unlike you morons that keep engaging with him. I also don't know what's happening on Parler or Truth Social, because there's no reason to give those people engagement, which is what they want.
SpaceX is resupplying the ISS and Starlink provides decent internet where there are no other options. Tesla sets the standards for electric cars, and did it a decade ago.
Are any of these things perfect? No, but they are moving the world forward, and it is unfortunate that he's the guy at the wheel.
