One has a round face, like a C for crocodile. One has a pointy face, like an A for alligator. Except it's the opposite of that and makes no sense.
You had me in the first half and tbh, now i dont trust the second half either
It is backwards and dumb. The way I remember is that it's alligator with the fatty, lower-case Greek Alpha: "a", which looks round. And it's crocodile with a sharp, unrealistic C, like this "<".
There's probably an easier way to remember, but it worked for me and it's served me absolutely no purpose to know the difference.
The way I remember is that aligators live in Louisiana. Louisiana was founded by France. The Eiffel Tower is in france. The Eiffel tower is on the Champ de Mars. Champ starts with a "C" and their snout is curved like a "C".
