it's great.
sure, the number of active users here currently doesn't even come close to what r/DRSyourGME once had (around 13k subscribers at the time of getting removed by reddit?).
but i'm excited for the existence of this lemmy instance. it's the first lemmy instance for GME investors, hopefully the first of many.
to this day you still see the conversation pop up around reddit, people concerned that reddit might spontaneously kill superstonk or other related communities for the purpose of silencing the voice of GME investors. i don't know if or when it will happen, but if it ever does, at that time there will be a large amount of fresh interest in ideas like lemmy, and this instance will already be there ready to help people make the transition.
