Palestinians have been pushed into a corner and are surrounded. What the hell would you do in their shoes?
You can’t peacefully pull yourself out of oppression, because oppression is inherently violent.
Perhaps you can wage war with less war crimes.
Maybe start by not murdering babies or people at a festival?
I imagine it’s hard NOT to be violent when your food and water are controlled by people who believe you to be sub-human animals.
Also, Israel has dropped many bombs on many Palestinians, including children.
״hard not to be violent”? This was a premeditated massacre committed by trained and armed militants. It wasn’t a riot or an angry mob.
I don't have an opinion on the conflict and each sides claims. I just know one side murdered and beheaded some children, seems a bit more severe than dropping bombs with collateral damage.
Isreal actively kills children and celebrates it. Go read about the Great March of Return. So many kids killed by the IDF. That's a lot more than "collateral damage"

Also a reminder that children make up 47% of Gaza, and Isreal happily continues to bomb them, and cut off electricity and running water as collective punishment.
The CBS article highlights condemnations and criminal investigations by the IDF into the crimes of IDF soldiers. Have any Hamas officials condemned or investigated the crimes committed by Hamas militants?
Does Isreal do investigations into the mountains of children they kill? Or do they just say they're "investigating" when something like this is clearly bad optics for them.
Isreal also undermines moderate Palestinian opposition in favour of Hamas, because they make good propaganda for them to justify their ethnic cleansing.
Even taking your cynical view, is it not telling that Israel at leasts cares about the optics?
Masquerading as a democracy for western support does not mean they kill children more ethically than Hamas.
I'm not siding with Hamas here. I'm pointing out an overlooked part of all this. Isreal keeps 2 million people, half of them children, in an open-air prison, bombs them constantly, murders their kids for minor transgressions and then (shocked Pikachu face) an extremist element breeds there. They then use that extremist element as propaganda for further bombings and land theft.
This is not a time to say "both sides bad" and move on. There is a cycle of violence here between two sides, but only one side here has the power to end that violence and it sure as hell isn't the side being subjected to an Apartheid state.
Yeah bro let's just flatten Gaza....again. And then nuke Tel Aviv. Justice.
Did you read anything I wrote lol? The Palestinians have already been being punished for decades, yet the violence continues.
If you want to sit on the fence and feel morally superior while atrocities continue to happen, that's your prerogative.
You clearly have no education on this subject. Go read about some of what the Isrealis have put the Palestinians though, and the massive power imbalance between them. I outlined some of that above, but you are being willfully ignorant.
So you HAVE chosen a side. And remember, again…. You’re debating who kills more children, and have chosen a side in this argument.
Normal people with a properly aligned moral compass would agree they’re BOTH horrendous animals.
I’m not arguing this with you any more.
The part you're not understanding here is the obvious fact that Hamas commits horrendous acts, but that is a natural consequence to being subjected to an Apartheid regime. Isreal has the power to end that cycle of violence and chooses not to, the pressure need to be put on them. Just going "jeez both these suck" and moving on accomplishes nothing.
Have a nice day.
~ You, while entirely ignoring their crimes against humanity.
If that's your takeaway, you're either completely lacking in reading comprehension or purposely misrepresenting my argument.
I read what you wrote. If you wanted me to think differently, you should have wrote differently.
You read it but you processed nothing. Nowhere did I say that Hamas are the good guys or that their actions are excusable.
I do not know how I can dumb this down further for you.
No, you just speak out only against their enemies- in a conversation that’s about how BOTH of them are equally to blame. And equally wrong…. While claiming to be impartial.
Talk about dumbing down- you can’t even see your own hypocrisy.
I wrote a whole paragraph up there addressing this. You treat this as if these are two equal sides, like a chess match. This is not the case. Subjugating millions of people will breed extremism. Explaining the root causes of extremism is not the same thing as condoning extremism. To end it, they need to begin by ending the subjugation or this cycle will continue.
I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand, and I don't know how many times I need to repeat that concept.
