I keep things simple and use Spotlight for most navigation.

A fellow spotlight navigator! There are dozens of us!

I like keeping a little extra space

Do you live near a coast? The weather is so nice

[–] Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

US west coast. Generally pretty temperate climate.

I try to keep all interactive UI elements at the bottom so I can use the phone with one hand more easily.

Quite a lot of fediverse going on there^^

[–] cod@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I’ve got 2.5 pages of apps in that folder 😅

[–] brcl@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Hope Avelon is in there! It’s my favorite app so far!

[–] cod@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

It is! I don’t use it as often, Memmy is still my favourite, but I check in on it from time to time and it’s progressing quite well

What’s the treble clef app?

[–] DevilBoom@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Think it’s the Apple Music Classical app.

[–] cod@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Yep that’s the one

[–] cod@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Apple Music Classical. The best way to stream classical music now that Primephonic is gone

Mine is very close to yours.

Such a fun app! Seek is great too if you have never used it.

[–] mysteriouswineglass@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I just recommend this app to my mother in law in lieu of one of those morbidly expansive camera bird feeders.

I have been looking at building one with a Pi for my wife.

[–] mysteriouswineglass@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

That’s such a good ideal—good luck!

Hello, fellow apple users.

Here is mine:

Edit: word and forgot pic, hahahaha

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Mine is boring apart from the cute doggy. The doggy himself is less boring when not two dimensional.

[–] Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That isufcu icon is a real gem

[–] fer0n@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Haha, it’s definitely an eye catcher ^^

Voyager seems popular here. I've been on Memmy before but will give it a try.

[–] MonkderZweite@feddit.ch 2 points 1 year ago

Homescreen, what for?

[–] Venicon@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 year ago

I have a shortcut to change the wallpaper every day to whatever is the Bing image. Keeps it fresh.

Most used apps grouped in dock

[–] yodahome@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago

I always tried to have my most used apps up front and upgraded to folders, once that was a thing. So far it still works for me, all else goes via spotlight. Rarely do I see page two. 🙃

[–] Jamesthebob@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Can you share your wallpaper please

I keep all my third-party apps on page two. That's also the page I activate before locking the phone.
