I use Google for maps and I'm still using their email for one account but I hate it. Duckduckgo's maps are way less useful. I know they're tracking my every move. I want to normalize leaving my cell phone at home at this point.

We developed GOOD search (www.good-search.org) as a value-based alternative search engine: 100% free of Big Tech, 100% ad free (as Google and Bing control the search advertising market. Europe-based. No loud marketing, as we are to the greatest extent a volunteer project, working with independent search feeds. For anyone who wants no Google or Bing inside, may be a good option ...

I basically only go there when DDG hasn't indexed the Stack Exchange/Overflow Q&A I'm looking for.

I use a self hosted whole instance because I still enjoy the Google SEO
