Dems can capitalize on Republican cowardice by holding their own town halls in nearby districts where R politicians can’t be bothered to show up. Bernie and a few others have already started doing this.

Just gonna say it, wish there was another party other than Dems that way it would push them both to do things better.

It would need to be a leftist party to encourage the two main parties to be better. Centrism like Yang’s just leads to ratchet effect dragging the Overton window further towards right wing extremism, we’ve literally watched this happen in real time over the past 40 years.
Politics isn't a one dimensional spectrum. We use terms like left, right, and center. But that ignores other directions like up and down, forward and back.
Forward doesn't mean center. Open primaries for example. Both Republicans and Democrats fight against them. Are open primaries Left or Right? Or something else?
The truth is neither of our parties are responsive to the people. Democrats proved it in the last nomination, basically ignoring anyone that wasn't Biden/Harris. Republicans are proving it now, in their refusal to do town halls. Supporting a party that's literally being built to respond bottom up, rather than top down; And isn't beholden to the traditional media driven, overly simplistic "Left" "Right" duopoly, can only be a good thing.

If the politicians won’t come to the voters, sounds like we need to go to them. DC, local offices, homes - let them FEEL the public sentiment.
They'll wet their diapers and accuse everyone of terrorism.

All it takes is two House members siding with Dems for a tie, and three for a Dem majority.
Republican leadership knows that, and that's why they trying to ban townhalls.
Many other GOP leaders have adopted a similar tack, asserting that the protests Republican lawmakers have encountered have been concocted by Democrats and do not reflect genuine voter anger over the Trump cuts.
Oh, I see. Democrats. Not genuine voters.
Start publishing their home addresses then.

Cowards! Face the people you are enslaving! Feel the heat from their angry and solemn words! If they won't show up at town halls protest outside of their fucken houses!
Feel the heat of their torches, the bitter sting of the pitchfork, the sharp snap of a rope that has run it's length.
It is literally their job to listen to and represent their constituents. Shouldn't refusal to do that get them fired? It would in any other job!
