I have an opinion that you can't judge a comedy until a few seasons in. If you stopped watching It's Always Sunny, The Office, The Simpsons, or Curb Your Enthusiasm based on the first two seasons, you'd be missing out some brilliant comedies. That said, which comedies would you say the showrunners/actors had the characters and their quirks fully realized right out the gate? The only one that comes to mind is Arrested Development but I'm wondering if others exist.
