My father disowned me when I told him the world would be better off when his entire racist, ignorant generation is dead and can no longer vote. But my tong and listened to his bullshit for over 20 years. He keeps trying to insert himself back into my life like it didn't happen. Just waiting for him to die at this point. I wish I wasn't an atheist, it'd be nice to know he's burning in hell and that he might get to find out I didn't attend his funeral.

I once heard a theory once that most boomers are “the way they are” because of the amount of lead they all were exposed to due leaded gasoline. The three most common effects of long term lead exposure are developmental delay, learning difficulties, and irritability. Zero evidence of course, but it sure would explain a lot.
