Was really hoping this one would help get more competition in the Sims game spot. What EA has done with the sims with the nickle and dime content purchases really turned me off to EA. The game itself was enjoyable.

Sims is great but their content policy is insane. While I don't think this game looked amazing it did have potential and would've at least been an option. So we're back to only having Sims in that genre now. Let's hope that paralives pulls through, they seem to at least still be going

From what I've seen of the game it just didn't look good tbh.

I'm more excited about Paralives.

This is upsetting. But atleast we have Paralives and Vivaland.

I'm pretty excited for the coop multiplayer in Vivaland.

Eh, they probably couldn't find the sweet spot of putting forth minimal effort while making maximal profit off of people's low standards.

I don't really have sympathy for them because this game was most likely going to be more garbage on the pile.

Yeah City Skylines didn’t even have multiplayer when SimCity 2013 did

Some interesting info coming out from the shuttered dev about this debacle..

I mean, can you elaborate, or at least link something?

Sure, sorry was heading to bed when I wrote that last one and forgot all about it. https://www.pcgamer.com/games/life-sim/former-dev-from-sunken-sims-competitor-life-by-you-alleges-the-team-had-the-rug-pulled-from-under-them-despite-outperforming-the-company-s-internal-metrics/ Edit: also, the latest conspiracy is that EA payed off Paradox interactive to pull the project..but that is pretty fringe and far fetched.
