Confusingly, it appears to have little etymological relationship to "bussin'", which entered the lexicon during the same period.

I first saw it in a crossover meme. The salesman slapping the top of a car while saying "this can fit so many" but the car was replaced by an actors butt from Broke Back Mountain. Now that I've written it out, I see that I missed the obvious, yet again, lol
