Hi! I just wanted to let you know that the project you linked to has been abandoned. I tried contributing a while back but didn’t get anything merged. Therefore I started a fork which is a bit more active, and has some improvements. I’ll admit that I haven’t been super active lately, but if anyone wants to contribute, PRs are very welcome :)

OK, didn't know that. Have been using it with no issues for some years. Can I migrate to your fork and keep my current data?

[–] alf@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yup. Migrating should be as easy changing the image from akhlrex/hammond to alfhou/hammond if you're running it in docker. See discussion here as well: https://github.com/AlfHou/hammond/discussions/6

Cool, I'll give it a try.

I didn't even know there was a Clarkson. This is beautiful.

I love the top gear reference, but surely May would have been the obvious choice, Hammond is just asking for a crash!

As Hammond's Workshop proves, expense management is not Richard's forte.

May would be Debian, going years between major releases for the sake of stability.

This needs to work with voice assistants. I want to scream "HAMMMOOOOOND!" when I come home from the shop...

I don't intend on using this at the moment but applaud the name

Can you tell us more about why you like this package?

[–] StreetKid@reddthat.com 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Does as advertised, and I don't really know any alternatives.

Sweet! It looks cool. Do you use it for work? I manage to get enough info about my vehicle expenses from a finance app that scrapes my bank statements, which is enough of an overview for my requirements
