A two-state solution would not have worked in Germany in 1946 and it would not work here. Israel is responsible for every Palestinian life despite their denials. One state with equal rights for all, and probably a new constitution which would make another Netanyahu impossible, is the path forward. To preempt the common revisionist Zionist argument, I don't think the Palestinians are too primitive and barbaric to deserve full rights. I'm from the American South and that argument is very familiar to me.

OK, so when is anybody going to do anything about it?
So many "unacceptable" things Israel does always just seem to get accepted.
Even the standard "sternly written letter" gets vetoed.
The veto power is the truly horrendous idea that's the nail in the coffin for the UN. It's based on neither the representation of population, nor on justice. Rather, it's based on military might and the ability to bully the other nations. Even neglecting the fact that the world order is subject to change and challenges, it's hardly surprising that any nation takes the UN seriously with such a petulant assertion of authority. Whoever came up with that idea isn't a visionary of world peace - but rather a moron drunk on the kool-aid of ensuring world peace through the military might of a few over the self respect of the rest.
This is a misunderstanding of the UN's primary purpose. The UN is a diplomatic organization meant to enable a baseline minimum amount of diplomatic interaction. It's primary raison d'etre is preventing a world war / nuclear war. If military might was not respected, then nations would leave the negotiating table and large wars would be harder to avoid. The veto was instrumental in establishing the UN in the first place.
Israel has absolutely no right to reject the two-state solution. I'm beginning to feel that Israel itself has no right to exist any longer. The only outcome that will ever work in any way, under any circumstances, is to allow Palestine to have it's own independence and its own territory. If Israel rejects that idea, we need to reject Israel and do our best to wipe them off the face of the earth for the good of the rest of mankind.
we need to reject Israel and do our best to wipe them off the face of the earth
We need to differentiate between Israel as an administrative-state/ country, and the literal Israeli people as individuals.
And "wipe them off the face of the earth" sounds like you're talking about the latter.
If you are, please take that rhetoric elsewhere.
No colonial state has a right to exist, but there is a difference between calling for de-col and calling for 'wiping [people] off the face of the earth'.
Wow I went bit over the top didn't I. I shouldn't have said we need to wipe the whole state off the face of the earth. Just the bloodthirsty ones.
I'm not sure Israeli people are to blame, but the government certainly is. And it seems there is no way to get better people into office there.
