I am referring to that. When the 90s rolled around and the internet became viable and was still being heavily invested in by the government it was only then that corporations wanted to own the spoils while leaving the costs still up to the public to invest in the basic necessary research and development and infrastructure.

It could have been much, much better, is what I am saying. And you clearly know this, too.
