This headline is written to maximize conflict between the police and society. Using the term "Land Defender" rather than illegal protester makes it seem like the police are at fault here -- in the sense of Rule of Law. They aren't.
If you don't like the Law, then change it. Democracy in action.
Do you know what truly maximizes conflict between the police and society?
Police brutality! And having the gall to laugh about it too!
It doesn't matter if the guy is a murderer, punishment is the job of the justice system not some cocksucker with 3 months of training.
I've never understood the term "cocksucker" as an insult. Ignoring the obvious homophobic undertones (which really is the main reason we should maybe not use it) I can't help but feel like cocksuckers are pillars of the community who should be celebrated for the hard work they do.
When used in a derogatory way it's more about someone who sucks cock for reasons of personal gain, like to get into a position of power just to abuse that power, rather that someone who sucks cock for the love of cock.
I'm not sure that is communicated, as this is my first time realizing this. I am dumb though, so take that into account.
I don't think anyone thinks about it, the same way that native english speakers will type 'alot.' Language is a bitch ;)
My peeve is "pussy" as a pejorative. A lot of people really like it, so I would think it should be a compliment. But yeah, sexism.
It specifies who the protester was. If it was a Yellow Vest, they would have said that.
