Your description reminds me of the job Barney had in HIMYM.

Who maintains such supply of houses, who pays for it, who would own it, who would carry out repair works as and when they are needed.

Yes harass the hospital for being caught between federal and state law. For trying to toe the fine line between it. If this continues it would not be a wonder if the hospitals shutter their maternal wings.

This consequence, the poor lady's death, was warned by all the sane people when the state laws were being passed. Harassing doctors and hospital for law makers fault is not right.

I gave an explanation for both the points talking less n anaesthesia from the point of view of preventing litigation.

New doctors are drilled by seniors n lawyers to speak less, be professional n only answer to the point.

OP's post was about anaesthesia.

it's about cramming as many patients as possible into each day.

Using general anaesthsia and controlling everything reduces risk as compared to doing it with local anaesthesia which might cause discomfort, vomiting. These can get you sued. You never know who will be the person who will screw you just because you tried to save a few bucks.

General anaesthsia might save a few minutes during the procedure but along with the time for giving anaesthsia, recovery from anaesthsia, after care. It is both more time consuming and costly.

being more personable and attentive would decrease the risk.

You would think so but in real world the more you speak more material you would give if you get sued. Hence the doctrine be professional and cover your ass.

Everything depends on hardware.

I had the completely opposite experience of installing Ubuntu on HP laptop and giving it to my father. It connected without any problems to his work wifi while his friends brand new windows laptop couldn't.

Even I should get a pass to view copyrighted movies and songs. I need it to train AI (Actual Intelligence).

Hello self hosters,

Recently I came into possession of an old Desktop PC. Its configuration is,

  • Pentium D 820, 2.8 GHz dual Pentium 4 core processor, supports 64 bit.
  • 512 DDR 333 memory
  • 90GB HDD
  • no graphics card
  • 3 PCI and 1 AGP slot

I was planning to put a ethernet card and use it as a router. It was to theown as garbage. Is what I am planning feasible or a good idea. Or it would be better as trash.

I have an old x86_64 computer which I am planning to use as a NAS. Which of the 2 is a better option? Is it helpful or better to run on bare metal or as a VM on proxmox?
