Surprised to see Grape so many times! The fake grape flavor of grape candy is my favorite!

I always loved the end of Star Trek VI. Specifically, the signatures and the music. I know it's technically not a scene, but it was a darn good send-off and ending.

What episode is this from? I'm totally blanking. Something Tom set up on the holodeck?

Yeah I play FH5 and have not touched the DLC. I feel like there is more than enough cars and content in the base game that I will probably never get to as is. It's just a chill game for me, drive around the beautiful scenery, relax, and do a race here or there.

I agree completely, I was just trying to say I think that was the beginning of it. I never touch cosmetic DLC but I at least consider DLC that adds story or more content. I play Paradox games after all. :-)

I feel like DLC is just a re-branding of ‘expansion packs’ that we used to have in the 90s.

The article says he thinks there wasn’t enough time for someone to complain, the restaurant staff was using it as an excuse.

“He said: "After entering I noticed a cash-only sign, so went straight back outside to withdraw my money.

"I went back into the restaurant to place an order, and they told me to 'please leave', because in their words I was 'scaring the customers', and there had been complaints about me."

He added: "There had not been enough time between the time I had been there first, and the time I went back, for anyone to have made a complaint about me so obviously the restaurant staff were not happy with the way I looked." “

That’s how I’ve felt about The Sims since the first one. It was so boring making my Sim go to work, come home, eat, go to bed, shower, etc. I bounced off it hard and never went back. If someone likes it, good for them, but I’ve never gotten it.

Yeah just let me watch new movies from the comfort of my couch. I’ll just wait for them to come to streaming anyway.

I’m 40 and I’d rather play a video game than watch a movie.

They got that Reviewbrah fit.

Hello all! Looking for any advice or thoughts from anyone else in a similar position. One of our cats has been super congested (whenever he is active you can especially hear it) for a few weeks now. I know most cats always have a low level viral respiratory infection (especially shelter cats), but last Tuesday (9/3) I took him to the vet and they said he may have a secondary bacterial infection so they gave him a shot of antibiotics and said he should be better in a week or two. Today, he still sounds just as bad and stuffed up. I also tried having him in the bathroom while I ran the shower hot and it seemed to loosen up a little, but it still sounds almost as bad.

Anyone have a similar experience? I am planning on taking him back to the vet early next week if it doesn't improve over the weekend but I'd rather avoid the bill if this is more of a 'wait it out' situation.

How is it in 2024 now that it’s finished? A lot of reviews I see are based on when it originally came out but I’m curious about the current state of the game. With it being on sale now it seems like it’s worth it even with flaws.

For some context, I’m not a huge city-builder guy (I’ve played some here and there) but the sci-fi setting and the narrative are what interest me here. I don’t really care about replayability as long as one play through is entertaining enough.

Any thoughts?

Anyone else have fond memories of Star Control 2?

Been waiting my whole adult life for this one!

Just so tired of almost every time a doctor submits stuff to insurance, we have to be the ones to make multiple phone calls to both the doctor's office and insurance to iron everything out, figure out what the issue is (it's always a different issue), and basically be the go-between for the office and insurance. What am I paying $500+/month for?! It's like paying for the privilege of having an exhausting part-time job.

And yes, I understand that insurance wants to weasel out of paying anything, but this isn't even shadiness, just straight up incompetence and lack of communication/following procedures. The amount of emotional energy we have to spend untangling this stuff leaves us drained.

So excited for this - a sequel to Star Control 2.

Just to be clear, this isn’t my creation, just something I found and wanted to share.

Super cool to get a feel for just how massive even the pre-refit Constitution class is.
