Tbh i do actually really want to find a place like the two good ones you mentioned to work at, it feels so hopeless with all of my experience of working either being just a number or the guy to unload all the work on without any benefits.

My biased thoughts on this are Yes they are heartless and the way they treat employees is either lack of caring or downright cruelty, ive seen machines be treated better but thats simply because the machine has a pricetag where as they can ignore employees until they are burnt out, then terminate them for the smallest inconvenience.

I want to explore this thought more and its biased to post this in antiwork however i think itll be a good insight to see what people think of employers in here

Issue is that i cant search for the normal titles because every company has their unique name for the title so my operator title is manufacturer, "sawer" or dicer at a different company

In all honesty it seems you just hate stories and I mean thats ok because gameplay, ascetic, and community are all features that become reasons for people to love games and usually its a combo of multiple different features that cause that game to be a favorite but why are you being condesending about basic plot lines? A good story needs a template in order for it to grow into something more and i honestly cant think of a book that doesn't fall into these catagories even "House Of Leaves" falls into it IIRC

Yes tropes exist and can be a sign of bad writing but, tropes can be done extremely well and create more then what was there before which is a sign of great writing.

I swear Reddit is not only not learning from history but purposely trying to repeat it again thinking oh the previous guys were just too weak....

something ive been enjoying recently Is asking art generators to make memes cause the know what a meme looks like but dont understand what a meme is so you get the most insane images ever from them

Ill miss RIF, im curious if RIF had a different algorithm or something cause from what im reading there was a lot of awful going on with reddit and I saw nearly none of it.

Its so weird that the alt right hasn't tried to seize Lemmy yet from my experience it was always the immediate fate of Reddit alts in curious if the alt right is too busy over at truth social (or rumble) oh could we please get a youtube alt next that would be so great

I have to agree with you on that I saw a comment earlier about the people who left Reddit being a loud minority but something feels off about that

Lemmy's community feels so familiar I sadly just can't find the right words to describe it though

I'm not trying to convince anyone to go back i promise, quite the contrary actually cause I think spez plans to just decrease the cost of the API and act like it was a bargain deal sacrifice while not solving any of the issues at all

But, when I think about it even if spez did actually listen and reverse all changes I don't think i want to go back to Reddit cause from what Ive seen Lemmy is just friendlier and less :Be Corporate Friendly: I would honestly love it if Lemmy did a project like r/place one of these days so we could see what the internet is actually like instead of what happened in 2022 (I really did enjoy what a bunch of communities did but when the mods started abusing their powers to make it corporate r/place lost so much meaning) but i am curious since i'm not going back is there anything Reddit can do to make you go back to Reddit?

I was just curious as its easier to access a mobile app then opening a browser and going to beehaw

(I know it sounds like I'm being lazy as I could make a shortcut however, the more lazy you can be to access the site the more people will be willing to be active as each step that has to be taken to access something a percantage of people will not do that step (I wish I knew what effect/ rule this was i can't seem to find it))
