There are generally programs where hospitals will forgive all or a portion of your debt depending on your income level. For someone significantly above the poverty line it's more expensive to go to a hospital, but someone making minimum wage or less may have it all forgiven.
You can also just lie about who you are, but I imagine that has varying degrees of success.
I had trouble with the sqlite databases when I was writing them to a remote volume over nfs. I've had zero issues since moving them to local disk and performance is great.
